As Christians we are called to learn how to love and serve God and our brothers and sisters by using our time, talents and treasures. We are called to serve our Lord and one another. This certainly means getting involved in the activities of the Church. It means fellowshipping with fellow Christians and reaching out to serve
others both in the Church and in the community.

Each and every one of us is blessed with gifts and talents, all very different in very many ways. We are reminded that we need to use our gifts and talents and abilities in the story of the parable of the talents which Jesus told in Matthew 25:14-30.  In all things we should recognize that our time, gifts and abilities, and treasures all come from God. What we do for others we end up doing it for God. Jesus tells us, "Inasmuch as you have done it unto the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me." (Matthew 25:40)

Service to others equals service to God". The fact is that we all have something to
contribute. Everyone has a part to play. You are important to God. You are very important to the Church. We all are. This should mean that we all should be involved in some aspect of the work and ministry of our Church.
