Notices
Today is Harvest Thanksgiving throughout our Diocese. We are asked to give special thanks to Almighty God for the many blessings bestowed upon us, especially for the treasures we glean from the Air - Land - or sea, which sustains our physical life. I hope none of us leave these hallowed walls without saying a personal prayer of thanks to God for life, health, clothes etc.... We should also remember on this day, the “Harvest of Souls”, as we are called to be sowers as well as reapers. May we, as we continue to embrace the programmes Partners in Mission and Ministry and Diocese 2000 and Beyond, recommit ourselves to spreading the “Good News” of Christ being alive in this world - yes alive in you and me.
We welcome to our 10:30 a.m. Mass the family of the late Edmund Cyril Knowles and Evelyn Muriel Knowles whose anniversary of death is November 24th. The family have placed flowers on the altars in loving memory and in sure and certain hope of their resurrection. Flowers have also been placed on the altars to the greater glory of God by Geogia Russell in thanksgiving for the birthday of her daughter Jessica & by Dwayne & Anita Treco in thanksgiving for their wedding anniversary today & by the Prayer Fellowship in thanksgiving for their anniversary.
Next Sunday is The Feast of Christ The King, the last Sunday of the church’s liturgical year, when flowers will be placed on the altars. Therefore my friends it is that time of year once again when the annual appeal must go out for contributions towards the cost of flowers & decorations that will be used to decorate the Church at Christmas time. Your donation can be a gift of thanksgiving or a memorial. If you would like to contribute, please contact the Rector with the particulars, no later than Sunday, December 19th.
Congratulations to the Prayer Fellowship of this church who are attending the 10:30 a.m.

Let us Pray: All powerful and ever-living God, the lasting health of all who believe in you, hear us as we ask your loving help for the sick; restore their health, that they may again offer joyful thanks in your Church. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Note! We believe that prayers should be offered for all people all the time. We also believe that our God answers our prayers, in one way or another. To that end, we would appreciate it if persons who have asked for names to be placed on the above list would indicate to us if our prayers for healing have been answered, so that the names can be appropriately removed.
When entering the hospital or if you are sick at home for any length of time, please let your Clergy know. Remember it is your responsibility to notify your parish Priests on such occasions. You can only be ministered to, when and if it is known that you are not well. The Clergy should also be notified when you are leaving the hospital. Thanks for your kind co-operation.
COMMUNION TO THE SICK! The Clergy wishes to make the Sacrament available to those who because of sickness or infirmity are unable to attend public celebrations of the Eucharist. If you are sick and/or confined (or if you know someone who is) and wish to receive Holy Communion at home, Please inform the Clergy as soon as possible
Always remember to pray for the repose of the souls of the Faithful Departed. Pray for those who have died recently, those whose anniversaries of burial occur this week, for those buried in our church’s yard, and for those who for whatever reason have no one to remember them with love in prayer.
